HOMESAVE discount

1. These terms and conditions (Terms), Tower's General Promotion terms and conditions (available here), and Tower's General Terms (available here) apply to the "HOMESAVE Discount" Promotion (Promotion).
2. In these Terms:
   
   1. Tower means Tower Limited.
   2. Tower Premium means the amount of premium retained by Tower and does not include:
      1. Toka Tū Ake EQC levy;
      2. Fire and Emergency New Zealand levy; and
      3. Goods and Services Tax (GST).
3. The Promotion begins at 8:00am on Sunday 3 March 2024 and ends at 11:59pm on Saturday 11 May 2024 (Promotion Period).
4. Subject to clause 5, this Promotion applies if:
   
   1. you
      1. purchase an Eligible Policy (see clause 6 below) directly from Tower (online or over the phone) or over the phone with Tower following a referral from a Tower partner, broker, or adviser during the Promotion Period; or
      2. save an online quote for an Eligible Policy during the Promotion Period and purchase the policy within 30 days of expiry of the Promotion Period; and
   2. you use/quote the promo code HOMESAVE (Promo Code); and
   3. the period of insurance for the Eligible Policy begins within 90 days of the date the Eligible Policy was purchased.
5. This Promotion does not apply to the following:
   
   1. Tower's employees.
   2. Customers who purchase Tower policies via CSC Buying Group.
   3. Customers who purchase Tower policies via a Ray White, TSB, or Coastguard online portal.
   4. Customers who receive a discount on Tower policies via an arrangement between Tower and their employer.
   5. Trade Me Insurance policies.
6. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means the following new Tower-branded policies:
   
   1. House (Premium, Plus, and/or Standard policies);
   2. Landlord (Plus policy); and
   3. Contents (Premium, Plus, and/or Standard policies),
      
      but excludes:
   4. Lifestyle block and farm insurance policies;
   5. Contract works - Renovation cover policies; and
   6. any other insurance policies underwritten by Tower.

   If you held the same type of Tower policy for the same asset in the three months immediately before the Promotion Period, then any new replacement policy will not be eligible.

7. If this Promotion applies, then a one-off discount (in the amount specified below) will be deducted from the first year's annual premium for each Eligible Policy purchased. The relevant discount for each Eligible Policy is as follows (Discount):
   
   1. Tower House: NZ$100 per Eligible Policy.
   2. Tower Landlord: NZ$100 per Eligible Policy.
   3. Tower Contents: NZ$50 per Eligible Policy.
8. If you pay your premiums for an Eligible Policy in instalments, the Discount will be spread across the instalments.
9. If an Eligible Policy does not run for the full annual policy period (for example, if there is a mid-term cancellation), the Discount applied will be pro-rated to the length of the Eligible Policy. If you are due a refund of any premium, we may deduct any Discount originally applied to your premium from any refund owing to you.
10. If you have saved a quote, but not completed the purchase, prior to commencement of the Promotion Period, this Promotion will not automatically apply to the saved quote.
11. The Promo Code must only be used once per Eligible Policy.
12. The Discount will not apply to any renewal of an Eligible Policy. The premiums due on renewal of an Eligible Policy will be assessed and set at the prevailing rates at the time of each such renewal.
13. Unless Tower advises otherwise, the Promo Code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion, except for the Tower multi-policy discount. If applicable, the Discount will be applied after any applicable Tower multi-policy discount has been applied.
14. The Discount cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
15. The Discount will be deducted from the Tower Premium and GST will then be added to result in a maximum total discount of $50 or $100 (as applicable) on each Eligible Policy.
16. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, sub-limits, minimum premiums and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
17. By purchasing an Eligible Policy using the Promo Code during the Promotion Period in accordance with our standard transaction process, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, then you must not use the Promo Code when purchasing an Eligible Policy.
18. Tower reserves the right to, at its sole discretion:
    
    1. change or revoke the Promotion to ensure that the Discount applied is correct for the purposes of these Terms;
    2. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    3. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    4. change any other aspect of the Promotion at any time.
