Kiwibank Love Your Perks discount terms and conditions

  1. These terms and conditions (Offer Terms), and Tower’s General Promotion terms and conditions (available here) and Tower's General Terms (available here), apply to the “Kiwibank Love Your Perks Member Discount” offer (Offer), referred to together as Terms.
  2. In these Terms:
    1. Tower refers to Tower Limited.
    2. Tower Premium means the amount of premium retained by Tower and excludes any
      taxes, levies and other charges collected by Tower on behalf of third parties (such as GST,
      Fire and Emergency levies, and Natural Hazards Insurance levies).
  3. To be eligible for the Offer, you must:
    1. be a ‘Member' of Kiwibank. For the purposes of these Terms, a ‘Member’ is any person who is eligible to obtain benefits under Kiwibank’s ‘Love Your Perks’ scheme.
    2. purchase or renew an Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 5 of these Offer Terms) from
      Tower through your Kiwibank Tower portal, dedicated website or by contacting Tower
      directly quoting the ‘Love Your Perks’ scheme. (Eligible Customer)
  4. If you are an Eligible Customer, then (subject to these terms and conditions) the following discount will be deducted from the annual Tower Premium for each Eligible Policy (as applicable) purchased for the life of the policy, unless by doing so the Tower Premium would be reduced below Tower's minimum premium (see clause 8 of these Offer Terms):
    1. Up to 10% off Tower pet insurance policy; and
    2. Up to 15% off any other Tower branded insurance policy. (Discount)
  5. For the purposes of this Offer, an Eligible Policy means the following Tower policies acquired via your organisation's unique online quote portal, Tower website with a discount code (where applicable) or directly from Tower via a phone call quoting the ‘Love Your Perks’ scheme:
    1. Standard, Plus, Premium, and Landlord's Plus House Insurance;
    2. Standard, Plus, and Premium Contents Insurance;
    3. Comprehensive, Third Party, Fire and Theft, and Third Party Car Insurance;
    4. Comprehensive and Third party only Commercial Vehicle Insurance,
    5. Tower Boat insurance policies;
    6. Tower Travel insurance policies;
    7. Tower Pet insurance policies;
    8. Comprehensive and Third Party, Fire and Theft, Motorbike Insurance;
    9. Comprehensive and Third Party, Fire and Theft, Motorhome Insurance;
    10. Caravan Insurance;

    but excludes:

    1. Contract Works - Renovation cover policies;
    2. Lifestyle block and farm insurance policies; and
    3. any other insurance policies underwritten by Tower.
  6. The Discount does not apply to taxes or levies.
  7. The Discount may be subject to change at any time at Tower’s sole and absolute discretion.
  8. Tower has a minimum premium for each policy type. If the Discount will reduce the Tower Premium below Tower's minimum premium, the Discount will be capped so that the Tower Premium is equal to the minimum premium for that policy type.
  9. If an Eligible Policy does not run for a full 12-month policy period, the Discount applied will be pro-rated to the period for which the policy was active.
  10. Unless Tower advises otherwise, the Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, or promotion, except for the Tower multi-policy discount (if applicable). If applicable, the Discount may be applied after any other discounts have been applied.
  11. Discounts cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
  12. You are deemed to have accepted these Terms by purchasing a new Eligible Policy in accordance with these Terms.
  13. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, sub-limits, minimum premiums and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
  14. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tower Limited and Kiwibank and their applicable related companies and affiliates, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Offer.
  15. Tower reserves the right to, at its absolute discretion:
    1. revoke the Offer in relation to any customers where it considers they have not complied with the Terms; and
    2. vary any of the terms applying to this Offer at any time or to modify, extend, terminate or suspend this Offer without notice.
  16. The Promoter is Tower Limited trading as Tower.
