Kiwi insurer Tower is pleased to announce the appointment of two executives to its leadership team. Today, Anna Kooperberg will take up the new role of Chief Customer Experience Officer and Michelle Finch will step into the position of Chief Marketing & Brand Officer.
Tower CEO Blair Turnbull says these internal appointments reflect the critical role that new customer acquisition and customer experience plays in Tower’s digital, data and growth strategy.
“Tower is going from strength-to-strength. These new specialist roles will further cement Tower’s place as New Zealand and the Pacific’s most customer-focused and progressive insurer,” he says.
As Chief Customer Experience Officer, Anna Kooperberg will lead Tower’s digital and telephony customer experience from sales through to claims.
Kooperberg currently leads Tower’s digital customer experience squads. In this role she has been instrumental in enhancing the company’s digital customer experience. Prior to joining Tower, Kooperberg held senior local and international brand, marketing and agile positions with Netflix, Spark Sport, Spark and Virgin Media.
Chief Marketing and Brand Officer, Michelle Finch, has led Tower’s marketing and customer experience design team since joining Tower in June 2021. In this time, she has cemented Tower as a progressive and customer focused brand. She was also responsible for automating Tower’s marketing delivery which has helped to substantially grow Tower’s online new business in the past financial year.
Finch has a strong background in financial services comprising marketing, product, digital and growth roles over 23 years, in both New Zealand and South Africa. Before Tower, Michelle held senior business unit, product and marketing leadership positions with Westpac, IAG and First National Bank South Africa.
