With our Comprehensive policy, if you insure your car from new and it's written off within the first two years, we'll replace it with a new car of the same make, model and variant.

Comprehensive cover: This option covers accidental damage, as well as any damage your car causes to someone else’s vehicle or property.
Third party, fire and theft cover: This option also covers your vehicle against fire and being stolen, as well as damage your car causes to someone else’s vehicle or property.
Third party cover: This option pays for damage you cause to other people's car and property, but not your own.

Car insurance FAQs
With our Comprehensive car cover, customers can choose to insure their car for its market value or an agreed value. These decide how we settle a claim if the vehicle is written off or stolen.
- Market value is the amount your car is worth on the day it's damaged.
- Agreed value is an amount you and your insurer agree to cover your car for. This amount is locked in for a year when your policy renews.
Our private car policies cover you for driving to work but won't cover using your car for work. Our Commercial Vehicle insurance may be right for you if you're:
- an on-road salesperson
- a tradesperson.
Your windscreen and window glass are automatically covered under our Comprehensive policy and Third Party, Fire & Theft policy. If you ever need to make a claim for windscreen damage, just call us on 0800 379 372 and we'll get it sorted.
If you've got a cracked windscreen, Tower's chatbot Charlie can help you make a booking with Novus. Tell Charlie to "Start a windscreen claim" to book now.
You can also add our windscreen excess buyout benefit when you take out the policy and you won't pay an excess if you claim or lose your No Claims Bonus.
Our policies don't cover your car if it stops working due to a mechanical failure. However, you can add our 24-hour roadside assistance service, RoadWise®, to your policy, so if a breakdown happens help is just a phone call away.
We do, as long as they are driving inside the conditions of their licence.
No, neither our commercial or private policies cover rideshare and carshare services like Uber, Ola, Zoomy, and Yourdrive.
If you're not completely happy with your cover, just let us know within 15 days of the policy start date.
As long as you haven't made any claims during this time, we'll cancel the policy and refund any premium payments you've made. If the policy is not quite right, we might be able to change it to better suit you.
