An atrocious storm formed off the coast of Northland which battered most of New Zealand. When the storm hit Dargaville, this farmer’s land was hit by some violent electrical activity.

One of this farmer’s cows was struck by lightning during the storm and died. The farmer had taken out a TOWER Tailored Rural Insurance policy and had cover under the livestock Special Benefit.
