Tailored Car Insurance
 If it’s broad cover you’re after for your car, then TOWER Tailored Car Insurance should fit the bill. What’s even better is you get to pick and choose what you want from a range of options included so you’re in charge of what you pay for. The base cover has all those things you’d naturally expect of any quality car insurance - providing cover for sudden and unforeseen accidental physical loss or damage. Features of TOWER Tailored Car Insurance
- For your car repairs you can choose your own car repairer - someone you know and trust who knows your car’s history and is convenient - or if you decide to use a TOWER recommended repairer, TOWER will provide a lifetime guarantee on those repairs.
- If your car is stolen, involved in an accident or written off, cover allows up to $500 for accommodation and travel costs to complete your journey or return home. Cover also includes a hire vehicle for seven days or up to $500 (whichever is the lesser).
- Cover for windscreen and window glass breakages – and you wont need to pay an excess or lose any no claims bonus you might have. Please note that TOWER gets to choose the repairer for glass claims.
- No excess to pay and no loss of any no claims bonus you might have if your car alarm or electronic immobiliser was activated at the time of vehicle theft.
- No claims bonus protection – if you’ve had a TOWER Tailored policy with us for two years and been claims free, you can make one claim and you wont lose any of your no claims bonus.
- Replacement vehicle – if you replace your vehicle, we’ll insure your new vehicle under the terms and conditions of your current policy for 30 days, giving you plenty of time to call and notify us of the details of your new car.
Optional Features of TOWER Tailored Car Insurance
- Under 25 year old drivers are automatically covered under this policy, but you can choose to exclude cover for them and save on your premium.
- RoadWise programme – provides access to TOWER’s roadside assistance service for the car insured.
- Trailers and caravans – cover for trailers and caravans can be added free of any excess
- Rental vehicle – choose to include rental vehicle hire up to $2,500 while you are without your car (from a covered loss).
- Lifetime no claims bonus – if you’ve held comprehensive car insurance for at least three years and have been claim free during that period, you can include this benefit which gives you a full no claims bonus for the life of the policy.
